I'm currently on Chapter 5 of Part 3 of the book I discussed in my previous post. Recently, I realized that this book serves as an escape for me. As a student, my primary duty is to learn and educate myself. Although this book provides some knowledge, it's not my main priority. What determines my main priority? The results. Reading this book won't yield the desired results that I and others expect from me. Therefore, I need to focus on physics, chemistry, and biology. I don't dislike these subjects, but they don't spark the same interest in me as this book.
Despite this, I'm grateful for everything I have and will make the best of it. You can't move forward with an ungrateful attitude. The most beautiful feeling you can experience is bliss. Be grateful for what you have, even if you're not fond of it. Say, "Thank you, Life, for this, but I deserve better, so let's work for that." Don't approach work with a negative mindset, but don't use that as an excuse to avoid work.
You might wonder why I share these thoughts. Firstly, I don't care what others think, as I'm not forcing anyone to read this. Secondly, I genuinely aspire to be something remarkable. I treat this blog as a public diary, documenting the journey of a boy who dares to dream big. As time passes, my beliefs may evolve, and people can read about my transformation. If you're reading this now, congratulations! You'll get to witness my growth, whether I become something extraordinary or not.
Yesterday, at coaching, I was playing with a ball. While playing, I accidentally threw the ball, hitting a boy in the face. He reacted angrily, throwing the ball outside. I understood his reaction. Some guys behind me asked me to throw the ball again, as they enjoyed the moment. However, the boy had already thrown the ball outside. The guys got angry and started abusing him, threatening to confront him outside. They caught him and began bullying him. I felt sorry for the skinny, innocent boy.
This incident shows that life is more than just superficial things. A small action can escalate into something much worse. If that boy had courage and physical strength, he wouldn't have ended up in that situation. People tend to suppress those who appear inferior. The key takeaway is: identify the weakness that others might exploit and work on it. This principle applies beyond bullying; it can be useful in various situations. Maybe a friend makes you feel inferior or tries to take advantage of you. Ask yourself, "What weakness is this person seeing in me?" Work on it. Be courageous, and stand by the truth.
